The Foundry Show Opening Reception

About this event

The Foundry Show is completely run and comprised of a group of regional artists. This is a fun and unique show held for a total of 7 days over the course of 2 weeks at The Pawtucket Armory in Pawtucket, RI. In lieu of an admission fee, The Foundry Artists ask for a nonperishable food donation upon entry. We also hold a Silent Auction during the second week to benefit a local non-profit. At the end of the show, we donate a large van of food to The Rhode Island Food Bank & proceeds from the Silent Auction this year will be given in memory of Suzanne Tanner, our wonderfully heartfelt artist whom you will remember through her glass magnets created with old maps, beautiful papers, and graphic designs. All funds raised will be donated in Suzanne’s honor to the Oncology Research Fund at the Rhode Island Hospital.

If you’re looking for a place to do your holiday shopping that supports local artists and those in need in and around Rhode Island, The Foundry Show is just the place you’re looking for!
