About this event
Professor John Kaag will speak about his book, American Bloods: The Untamed Dynasty that Shaped a Nation. The book follows the Blood family from the 17th century British Civil Wars to the early 1900’s. Following the discovery of a mysterious manuscript in his recently purchased old farmhouse situated on Blood Farm in Massachusetts, Kaag frames the genealogy of this family and the early American original, untamed, risk-taking spirit that shaped the Nation.
