About this event

Join us at the AAIM on Saturday, November 21st from 2:00pm to 3:00pm for a read aloud of “Who Sank the Boat?” followed by a STEM activity geared toward younger children.

Can you build a boat out of everyday household materials? Your boat must be able to hold the cow, the donkey, the sheep, the pig AND the mouse. In this engineering challenge you will learn what objects float or sink, and which objects can hold up the weight of other objects. Through trial and error, you will have built and firm and buoyant boat.

This event is free. R egistration is encouraged but not required. This event is intended for ages 3 and older.
