ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Two brown pelicans, found dehydrated with a severe foot infection near the Port of Galilee in late December, were brought to the Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island for specialized IV treatment. The birds, rescued on Dec. 24 and Dec. 26 near State Street in Point Judith, are expected to remain in care for several weeks (pending possible transfer to a southern rescue facility).
