- ➤ Warwick woman Liz Duggan, founder of Amenity Aid, was selected as one of 12 local leaders for United Way’s 2026 Executive Director Learning Circle. The program will equip nonprofit executives with tools and strategies to support growing community needs. Warwick Online
- ➤ Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island works to strengthen youth by creating one-to-one mentoring and group mentoring opportunities. The organization announced its new Little Brotherhood program to support boys on its waiting list and relies on clothing donations & grants to serve over 2,500 people annually. The Providence Journal

- ➤ School Finance Director Craig Enos said last Wednesday that the budget commission must make tough choices to balance rising costs + limited funds. The meeting focused on planning revisions to secure enough support for local schools. Warwick Online

- ➤ Rhode Island men's basketball won its third Atlantic 10 game on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Dayton by overcoming a 15 point first half deficit and a 17 to 12 overtime push (81 to 76 final). The Rams improved to a 13 to 8 record and 4 to 4 in conference play. The Providence Journal
