- ➤ The Rhode Island Public Transit Administration launched its Flex on Demand service that lets riders book wheelchair-accessible trips via an app. The program began Monday in areas including West Warwick (one-way trips cost $2.00) and will add select Saturday hours in Newport and Middletown. WJAR

- ➤ HealthSource RI's 2026 open enrollment report shows nearly 5,000 fewer residents enrolled this period as higher insurance costs contributed to a 10% decline, and Gov. McKee allocated $9.5 million to ease the burden (experts worry uninsured patients may face higher hospital bills). WJAR

- ➤ A new report shows there are only 54 affordable rental homes for every 100 low-income households, leaving nearly half without safe housing. Housing advocates urge more investment to ease the cost burden for those in need. The Providence Journal

- ➤ Former Bishop Hendricken football star Kwity Paye signed a three-year, $48 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders after concluding his rookie contract with the Colts, which included a 2025 fifth-year option.
