GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Warwick Police Department will offer its Safe Rides Program on St. Patrick's Day, Mar. 17, to help reduce DUI related crashes by providing citizen volunteer rides from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Residents can request a ride by calling 401-732-0308.  WJAR
  • Governor Dan McKee signed a new executive order today aimed at lowering health care costs and boosting affordability in the state. Officials will soon implement the order, affecting local providers (including Warwick) as progress is monitored.  The Providence Journal
