- ➤ Warwick nonprofits received $3.7M from the Rhode Island Foundation’s grants in 2025, making the city the second-largest recipient among 39 communities (per the report). Warwick Online
- ➤ Janet Coit (former head of the state Department of Environmental Management) will become the new executive director of Farm Fresh RI on April 13 in Providence; she will work to secure new funding and boost local food programs amid recent cuts. The Providence Journal
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Local students will display artistic and technical works at Toll Gate High School on Wednesday, April 1 during the fourth annual Celebration of the Arts and Technology. The event also features a robot demonstration by the high school's robotics team (state championship winners). Warwick Online
