- ➤ Affordable Rhode Island's Michael Beauregard argues that the minimum wage should be $20 an hour+ saying the increase would better match the rising cost of living for workers. The Providence Journal
- ➤ Rep. Brandon Potter introduced H 7490 to raise overtime pay thresholds for salaried workers making less than $35,568 a year after a Texas judge blocked Biden's rule. The bill phases in higher salary cutoffs for small and large employers between now and 2029 to protect lower-paid workers. The Providence Journal
