- ➤ Warwick police said a woman pedestrian was struck at an intersection on Thursday when she attempted to cross northbound at Warwick Avenue — Fowler Avenue and sustained non-life-threatening injuries while the investigation continues. WJAR

- ➤ Rhode Island hospitals have jumped to the nation’s second-safest ranking as more than half earned an A in Leapfrog’s spring survey—Kent Hospital in Warwick and a few others received lower grades.
