- ➤ Trinity Rep announced its 2026-27 season of five shows, including the 50th A Christmas Carol at Dowling Theater (a longtime favorite) from Nov. 5 to Dec. 31 as Meredith McDonough replaces Curt Columbus, and the season opens with The Getaway Driver on Sept. 3. The Providence Journal
