  • Rosie DiMare’s North Kingstown home renovation includes a planned 900 sqft second floor and 1,900 sqft first floor, with records showing the addition totals 2,800 sqft plus a basement that could bring it near 5,000 sqft.   • Nominees for Longplex Athlete of the Week in baseball were announced, including five players from area teams. Voting is online until Friday & winners will be recognized in the next poll.  The Providence Journal
  • Six Rhode Island Division I basketball teams announced transfer moves last week, including Timofei Rudovskii leaving Bryant for Pittsburgh and Kylah Silver joining Providence from UNC-Wilmington. The portal remains closed to new entries without a coaching change or NCAA waiver, reshaping local rosters ahead of next season.  The Providence Journal
  • Local softball fans can vote for the Week 7 Longplex Softball Player of the Week Award by reviewing the five nominees and casting their vote online before Friday — the winner will be announced next week in the Player of the Week poll.  The Providence Journal
