- ➤ Edgewood Yacht Club in Cranston officially opened its 138th summer season on Saturday morning with cannon salutes as members gathered to celebrate a long-standing local tradition. Warwick Online
- ➤ A red maple was planted at City Park to honor the nation’s 250th anniversary as part of a statewide plan to plant 39 Liberty Trees. Every municipality will join the celebration by adding a Liberty Tree (Liberty Trees). Warwick Online

- ➤ Trader Joe’s new insulated mini totes are now available in both RI stores. The Warwick location has limited stock as of Wednesday (with more expected by Thursday morning) while the Providence store remains stocked. The Providence Journal
