- ➤ Senator Louis DiPalma and Representative Patricia Serpa have introduced bills to update the Access to Public Records Act and boost government transparency by reducing fees and speeding up document requests. The changes would require agencies to release records like Town Council documents, crash data, and police reports within set deadlines — a move that some government agencies oppose. WJAR
