  • Warwick-based Music on the Hill held a two-week festival with seven concerts at venues in East Greenwich, Cranston and Warwick.   • Hope & Main has launched over 500 food businesses in just over a decade—with 45% still operating—and it will open a new West End Kitchens facility in Providence this fall to double its capacity as demand grows.  The Providence Journal

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Rhode Islanders face a housing shortage with 87% of voters supporting new homes in commercial zones, 70% backing single-family townhomes, and 81% favoring development on smaller lots—calls that urge lawmakers to pass a bill to allow 30% residential development on commercial land and help build the 24,000 homes needed.
