- ➤ Rhode Island lawmakers debated a bill to protect local veterans from for-profit claim consultants who charge fees for free, VA-accredited services—supporters say it will deter predatory practices while opponents worry it limits trusted choices. Green International Airport completed a $9.5 million bathroom renovation in 2021 that added more toilets, sinks, lactation rooms and family restrooms—features such as larger stalls, LED lighting, marble accents and improved air filtration have earned praise from travelers.
