- ➤ RIDOT will close sections of I-95 and I-295 in both directions for nighttime construction starting July 17, with the first closure in Warwick along East Avenue from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.—motorists must follow posted detour routes during the work. WJAR

- ➤ The Rhode Island Department of Health recommended closing the swimming area at City Park and Conimicut Point Beach—both in Warwick—due to high bacteria counts in the water. ABC 6
