  • M. Night Shyamalan’s film Remain is filming in Rhode Island and has added seven new actors including Julie Hagerty and Tracy Ifeachor to join Jake Gyllenhaal, Ashley Walters and Phoebe Dynevor; the film will be released in October 2026.  The Providence Journal
  • Rhode Island-native New York Times bestselling author Sarah MacLean spoke with NBC 10 about her new book 'These Summer Storms'—her 20th novel that follows a wealthy family on a private island as they navigate an inheritance game after their father's death. She said the work is a love letter to Rhode Island and will be featured at a cocktail event in Newport hosted by Charter Books as part of her book tour.  WJAR
