- ➤ Warwick police are asking the public to help identify a man who was accused of trying to break into a business and vandalizing a building on Jefferson Boulevard on May 26—he was seen wearing gray shorts, a black hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap with a distinct tattoo on his right leg and calf. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A new state law requires all college dorms to keep NARCAN and train staff in its use starting Sept. 1. Gov. Dan McKee signed the law on June 26, and it aims to curb opioid overdoses—although campus-specific data on overdoses were not provided. The Providence Journal

- ➤ Over the past two years, Emily Bernstein’s health consulting firm (Wheelhouse Health) helped Rhode Islanders save over $1 million by appealing their medical bills. The Providence Journal

- ➤ The Providence Journal announced the 2025 All-State Golf teams on June 18 at the Providence Performing Arts Center, naming top players like sophomore Rocco Capalbo of Prout and senior Garrett Carney of East Greenwich.
