- ➤ The Community College of Rhode Island received a $1M Gable Grant from the Lowe’s Foundation last week to boost its Electrical Apprenticeship and Ready to Build programs — the grant will fund new lab spaces at the Warwick campus expected to be ready by January 2026 to expand enrollment and meet growing skilled trades demand.
