ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A crash on Post Road in Warwick blocked at least one lane on Saturday as two cars collided head-on — local news crews reported that further details would be released soon. ABC 6
- ➤ On Saturday evening, West Warwick firefighters responded to a house fire on River Avenue that took over an hour to control—fire chief Jeffrey Varone said the three-story home suffered heavy damage to its basement and all floors yet is not a total loss even as two dogs died and a police officer received lacerations. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Rhode Island National Guard hosted LEAPFEST at Adams Farm in Exeter on Saturday as paratroopers from international and U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps units attempted static line jumps toward marked orange targets — the 40th edition of the event. Organizers will release the competition's results on Monday. WJAR
