Night Shyamalan finished principal photography for his supernatural romantic thriller 'Remain' after filming overnight at Fort Wetherill State Park in Jamestown from August 7 to August 9—following a prior shoot at Goddard Memorial State Park in Warwick from August 6 to August 7. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Phoebe Dynevor and Ashley Walters. The Providence Journal
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Portuguese soccer star Ricardo Quaresma visited Rhode Island yesterday—meeting Gov. Dan McKee, Mayor Bob DaSilva and Treasurer James Diossa at the State House before attending the Our Lady of the Rosary Annual Feast in Providence. WJAR
- ➤ Rhode Island FC played a hard-fought match that ended in a 0-0 draw against Loudoun United FC at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket; the team missed several scoring chances in 90 minutes.
