On Thursday morning around 7 a.m. on Warwick Avenue, a school bus and a RIPTA bus collided—no students were on the school bus and one RIPTA passenger was taken for medical evaluation while the cause remains under investigation.

Kent Hospital earned verification from the American College of Surgeons as a geriatric surgery facility—the first in New England and the 25th in the nation.
The certification means the hospital has met national standards for safe surgery care for older adults.
