- ➤ East Providence police answered a swatting call Sunday night after a fake 911 call from California linked to a video game led officers with AR-15s—seen holding a rifle—to surround a home on North Broadway, making it the third such incident in 10 days with similar calls in North Kingstown and Warwick.
