- ➤ Chester Browning (a retired photographer from West Warwick) will speak today at Warwick Library about T.F. Green Airport’s 65 years using nearly 20,000 photos (collected during his long career) that document key moments in local aviation. His talk will explain the airport’s changes from its beginning in 1931 to the present. Warwick Online
- ➤ Legacy Church will buy Buttonwood Plaza for $4 million after Pastor Ron negotiated a price drop from $6.5M; the church will close on the property in a month and start year-long renovations to build a sanctuary that seats over 800—adding a nursery, youth center and café—and use part of the space for rental income. - ➤ Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood will perform at The Park Theatre in Cranston on October 17 at 8pm as part of their unscripted 'Asking For Trouble' tour. The show will feature interactive improv games from 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (their partnership spans 35 years). Cranston Herald

- ➤ St. Peter School’s principal was placed on leave after six teachers resigned following complaints, and Kevin Peloquin was named interim principal in a letter to families. Rev. - ➤ Paul Earnshaw died earlier this month—he was a lifelong environmental advocate who spent over six decades cleaning Buckeye Brook and coordinating community clean-ups that earned him the Blueways Stewardship Award and Save The Bay’s Alison J.
