- ➤ Attorney General Peter Neronha said RI Energy owes ratepayers up to $39 million more than its plan calculates—he claims the company used a discount rate that shortchanges customers. He argued that using alternative rates would give ratepayers tens of millions more and protect them from rising energy costs—officials plan to review the matter further. Warwick Post
- ➤ Residents will set their clocks back one hour when daylight saving time ends on Nov. 2 at 2 a.m. — giving an extra hour of sleep — and will spring forward on March 8, 2026 at 2 a.m. to add more evening daylight. The Providence Journal
