Concrete was poured yesterday at the new Toll Gate High School in Warwick as 2,000 yards of concrete completed about two-thirds of the foundation; school leaders said the facility will welcome students in fall 27 with an athletic facility to follow in 29—officials noted a possible $5–$10 million budget overrun that the city may help cover.

Prospect Medical Holdings asked a bankruptcy court on (Oct 30) to either turn over Fatima Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center to the state or allow their closure after failing to secure funds from the Centurion Foundation (which twice attempted to raise the necessary financing) as the company suffered $18.7 million in losses over six months. Attorney General Peter Neronha said his office would oppose the motion and work to keep the hospitals open.

Moonlight Companies is recalling conventional yellow and white peaches sold at local stores between Sept.
