Toll Gate beat Burrillville 2-1 to win the Division III boys soccer title at Rhode Island College on November 9 — goals from Greg Laliberte and Ryan Enos led the team to victory despite heavy rain and a busy schedule.
The win marked their first trophy since 2013.
Titans girls volleyball won the Division IV title after beating Woonsocket at Rhode Island College on November 9, earning their 15th championship and first title since 2001.
The team had a strong season with few set losses and is expected to move up to Division III next season.
At the New England Cross Country Championships at Thetford Academy in central Vermont—Bishop Hendricken’s team won the regional title and Portsmouth’s Sean Gray captured the boys individual championship on Saturday in 15 minutes, 53.13 seconds.
