On Tuesday, November 3rd, the East Greenwich Art Club will meet at United Methodist Church, 1558 South County Trail, East Greenwich, RI , from 2-4 PM. The meeting is free and open to the public. After a brief meeting, neon artist, Nick McKnight, will present a talk titled: “Light Will Love the Way”. He is the owner of Night Light Neon in Providence, which is one of the only studios with dedicated focus on neon lighting in New England. McKnight will bring samples of his work, which diverges into two paths. For over ten years he has designed signage and lighting for local commercial businesses. When not creating for others, he makes neon art using typography and poetic verse to transform his writing and imagery into sculptural works of art.
