Blithewold’s Nature Discovery Backpacks

About this event

Looking for an adventure to explore and discover the natural world of Blithewold? The backpacks contain all the activities and supplies needed to engage your family in a fun-filled, memorable learning experience. Inspired by years of providing environmental programs for visitors, the Education staff developed the Nature Discovery Backpacks to help your kids engage with nature and learn about Rhode Island’s birds, insects, and plants. Each backpack has a variety of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and Life Science activities. Remember to dress for the weather and bring a sunhat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and a water bottle.
